Passport Check tells you whether a UK passport is likely to meet a destination country’s validity rules on a given date. It is general information and a guidance tool. It is not advice, and it is not a government service.
Entry requirements are set and enforced by the destination country, and are applied by airline staff at check-in and by border officers on arrival. Rules change, sometimes without notice, and can be applied inconsistently. A result from this site is not permission to travel and does not bind anyone. Always confirm with the FCDO travel advice for your destination and with your airline before you book or fly.
We take care to keep country rules current and cite official sources, but we give no warranty that the information is accurate, complete or up to date. If a rule matters to your trip, check it against the destination country’s own guidance.
Any result is calculated from the dates you enter and from general country rules. It does not account for your nationality, visa status, purpose of travel, prior travel history or any other circumstance that can affect entry.
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, or scraping it at a volume that degrades service for others.
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.
